Lot report by lot number or VIN
Everything the auction shows about one live lot, together with what it does not: the car's earlier auction attempts, the bids the seller turned down, and the other lot numbers it has carried.
What the report contains
Two halves: the lot as the auction lists it, and the history the listing does not show.
The lot in full
Every photo at full size, current bid and Buy Now, auction date, yard, seller and seller type, damage, odometer with its brand, engine, drivetrain and trim.
The car's sale history
Earlier auction attempts of this lot and of the same VIN under other lot numbers: dates, high bids, whether it sold or the seller refused, Buy Now sales.
Title and export
The title exactly as the auction publishes it, its document type, and whether a car with that paper can leave the US or Canada.
Everything you need to know
Which lots can I open?
Any lot currently synced from Copart, IAAI, Copart Canada or IAAI Canada. The free lookup tells you at once whether we have it; if a brand-new lot is not in yet, try again in half an hour.
What does the sale history include?
Every earlier auction run of the same lot number (date, high bid, sold or not) and, when the auction shows the car's full VIN, every earlier listing of that VIN under other lot numbers at Copart or IAAI. Some IAAI Canada lots have a masked VIN; the lookup says so.
Is it really free?
Yes. The lot report needs a NotedCar account and no subscription — it stays open after a trial ends, together with your purchased Carfax and window stickers. Carfax and window stickers themselves are paid per report.
Is the current bid live?
The bid is fetched when the report is built and shown with that time; the page keeps it for a few minutes. Recheck the bid on the auction site before the lane opens.
How is this different from the sale history plan?
Here you open one lot at a time by its number or VIN. The plan opens the whole sold-car archive to search and compare, with photos and price trends, and the dealer plans add the live lot search, watchlist and calendar.
Is a Carfax included?
No. A Carfax report covers the car's life on the road (accidents, owners, service); the lot report covers its life at auction. Both are reached from the same account.
Checking many cars?
The sale history plan opens the whole sold-car archive: filters by trim, damage and seller, every photo, 360° views and price trends.
